I have never been in a relationship. So, no idea about break ups.

AFAIK a fight or some arguments happen before break up after which couple break up their relationship.

But yesterday I met one of my friends . He told me about one girl whom he was fucking. He said to me they have now broken up .

But I saw he still used to chat with her.

So, do boyfriends and girlfriends keep chatting/talking even after break up ?

Then what is break up ?
