I realized that I'm very far from being a man.

I didn't know to properly tie down something to the top of my car. Felt like a total bitch. I'd feel completely emasculated if I had a female with me, watching me fail. So I started learning to tie knots the other day lol. (And there are plenty of other things I have to learn. How to use power tools, etc.)

Anyway. I imagine the world of I.T. isn't a very "manly" and positive environment. Not everyone is a "loser" but I wouldn't be surprised if it's packed full of people like that. Computers are the one safe haven where socially unskilled and anxious people like me can earn a good salary.

You become like the people you spend the most time with. 40+ hours a week with people like that for N amount of time will change me. For better or for worse.
