I'll try to keep this brief, but I would like to say not all women from the get-go, but too many women treat this as if it's okay and it's not.

Whenever a man airs his grievances, and a woman disagrees with him, it's completely disregarded out of hand as a grievance.

I saw a recent FDS thread about a man not wanting to give his pregnant wife his clothes because he wanted to keep it.

The thread responses was primarily: "Get over it", "What kind of man doesn't give his clothes to his pregnant wife", "Kick him to the curb", etc.

If it were me in the situation, I'd try talking to my wife, let her air her grievances, and then air my own, and then come to some sort of compromise or agreement, and ultimately i'd probably give up some of my clothes because I love her.

Being able to hear you out on your concerns and be sensitive/considerate to your feelings without immediately becoming defensive and rude is a key part of communication and emotional maturity.

A lot of women try to excuse this with "I'm just a strong woman", "I won't have anyone walk over me", or "All men are dismissive and invalidating anyways, so i'm okay" (That's an Apex Fallacy to the umpteenth degree, most men I find are amenable to having conversations. YES, not "ONLY" with other men but women too).

And it's a sign of weakness that you're not willing to have any kind of discussion that would benefit both parties. There's no strength of character if you can't have your convictions and principles fairly challenged in an honest debate and stay standing.

Even such concepts of "sealioning" is part and parcel to this concept. https://i.imgur.com/pJtkN9h.jpeg

Like, honestly, is EVERY invitation to a discussion/conversation just a bad-faith invitation to debate? Just another way for men to hold one over on you?
