I recently cold approached a HB8 at this party. My first question to her was: "Do you have a boyfriend". She said "No", upon which I asked her whether she would like to go on a date with me, upon which she looked at me (good physique, good face, well groomed, good outfit) from top to bottom, and from bottom to top, acted if she thought about it, and said "Yes". Ofcourse, in the few seconds we had interacted by then, through thin-slicing she had determined whether I was alpha enough for her. I was appearently.
We hit it off directly and we ended up talking to for quite some time. We had laughs and she clearly displayed humour (of which I am very fond in women). She could clearly take a joke and was not afraid to test me. She said she read the classics and enjoyed (European) literature, which I also approve of strongly, as it means she is a smart convo partner and reading indicates a clever mind to me. So far so good. Hot and smart.
But this came at a high prize; between our pleasant conversation, she casually drops into conversation that she is a lawyer (27) working at a lawfirm, with clear career goals. She says she hadn't had a bf in three years. Her motto on men was "If a guy comes along, then its allright, but if it doesn't happen, then it doesn't". This indicates a lack of commitment to me, and I feel like I would come in second place to her. After reading the Ian Ironwood 'Wife tests: Red pill alerts" on the redpillroom website, the clear redpilladvice is to leave, because no guys with high SMV should settle for a woman who puts you second. However, I like this one (Oneitis?).
Concluding, my question to your guys is: How can communicate effectively that I want to provide for her in a LTR?
