I've spent the last 6 months working hard to lose 25kg (~55lbs) to get into shape.

Now that I'm at my goal weight I want to see if the quality of my matches improves on Tinder, as my old fatty pics are yielding very few decent results.

I live the UK. We are currently subject to perpetual lockdown, Chinese style, with police roaming the streets, so any hope of getting any conventional pics with mates, hiring a photographer or doing something interesting are off the table for a good few months. I've never taken a selfie and don't fancy posing in front of the mirror, as I've read this is an antipattern. I live near my bro so I could ask him to take a couple of pics, but I live in a small rural town and there's not much going on. I also have a dog, but is taking pics with a dog a huge cliche or does it actually work?

The real question is shall I just wait until I can get into more social situations in a few months to build a complete profile rather than half baking it?

Cheers.
