it's an essential skill imo.

at one point in your journey, you're going be alone, takeout food is too shitty and expensive, so it's best to cook at home.

besides, i cook shit all the time to assert my dominance on women. they go nuts when they see that i cook better food than them.

if i ever get married in the future, im thinking of keeping my abilities as a cook a secret from my wife. so when she disrespects me i can go to the kitchen, cook something, show it to her, and then yell "i don't even need you" in a loud and distorted tone. that's gonna put her in her place real good

Paranoid about enjoying cooking? That’s silly. It can benefit you in so many ways. Cheap, healthy, enjoyable. Great with girls too. Impresses them and it’s an easy way to get them to your place.
