Insecure girls want constant attention. Do you guys have any experience regarding them?

Its standard for alot of girls isn't it. 1 girl from work goes absolutely mental if i don't give her attention (I used to till i discovered this sub). & I mean mental.. invading my space, punching me, dancing in front of me, grabbing & rubbing her boobs... the list goes on. Point is, she never did any of that before. Attention/validation = oxygen to them. Amazing how quickly things can change once you take your attention away.

I dated one of those, back when I was 20 years old, she was 18. If I didn't reply for 1 hour she would ask me why I was mad. She was really insecure and social media was everything for her. Had like 3k followers and is now an 'influencer'.

Best decision ever, breaking up with her, saved me so many head-aches.

It depends on the source and depth of their insecurity.

If their insecurity has to do with a bad parental relationship (for example) there's nothing to be done but move on because you're only just a proxy for the bad parent.

If the insecurity comes from a recent traumatic life event it may just require nurturing her back to a state of confidence and who know how long that could take. Even then there's a chance that with confidence she'll be a ball buster.

It's always a crap shoot, you just gotta play the odds.
