I don't know if I've ever technically dated a Chad, but I have dated someone Chad-like.
He was strong, confident, masculine, decisive, no bullshit kind of guy, which was what attracted me to him in the first place. He didn't give two shits about anything.
Really, he did not care about the repercussions of anything he said or did. He said all kinds of awful things to me about my weight. He thought that making me feel like shit about myself would motivate me to go to the gym. He was actually the guy I was talking about in one of my popular posts. It started off with him motivating me, which is what I talked about in my post, and then it quickly devolved into him using me as a verbal punching bag.
Him having other options wasn't just something in the back of my head; I KNEW he had other options because I was his side chick. He didn't tell me this initially, but it came out eventually and by then I had already fallen for him, so I made the bad decision to stick around. He said all sorts of things like "I like you so much better than my girlfriend" "She's too uptight and conservative" "Your personality is better" "You're way prettier than she is" "You're a better match for me" "We broke up" all of which he didn't mean. He used me for my blowjobs (something his gf wouldn't do for him) and my company. He eventually ended up ghosting me and went back to her.
I was sad for a while when things abruptly ended, but I was candid with both my family and friends about the fact that he had a girlfriend and how he was treating me, and NONE of them liked him. Everyone was telling me I needed to gtfo of that situation, but I didn't listen because he gave me 'gina tingles.
Now I'm in nun mode and just focusing on bettering myself and respecting myself more, to make sure I don't get myself into a situation like that again.

Chad and Stacy aren't real. They are just archtypes, shorthands people use for talking about others.

Chad was a very good looking man, tall, fit, beautiful face. Very insecure but not apparent to a casual glimpse. (Granted I'm very intune with people and can pick up on psychological projection.) Complete narcissist, self centred, arrogant and was never wrong. If you bruised his delicate little ego, watch out for 6'1, 190lb muscled man child.
Dating a Chad was one of the best lessons life has ever taught me.

Recently got out of a LTR with one. For a long time I was just a plate and then FWB. I was the first girlfriend he had and I could tell he wasn't completely done with spinning plates. We're in college and at parties he would often flirt with other women even though I was there. Our relationship dynamic was pretty captain/first mate though and we both enjoyed being around each other and had strong feelings and compatibility. Sometimes I would feel like he took it a bit far though to the point of me feeling like I was just agreeing to everything he wanted and that I cared a lot more about the relationship than he did. I was also not always the easiest to be around - too emotional sometimes and worried/got frustrated at small things. Nothing bad happened to end the relationship but I think after a year he started to get bored of just being with one person and wanted to 'work on himself' and probably pursue other women - kinda left me feeling like not enough though. He honestly motivated me to be a better person - more positive, focused, more confident, introduced me to TRP/RPW.

I dated a Chad the relationship fizzled in the end because of different upbringing and values and other stuff. His looks def made up for a lot of flaws I may not have put up with in others guys. There is also the problem where Chad thinks he is hot so doesn't need or learn to make effort. So sex is not great etc cause he never had to make an effort to get someone interested. i liked the whole playing hard to get and girl being chased by guy thing. For a guy to do that too just seems feminine, I feel like he did this stuff out of insecurity with some stuff that happened in his childhood. In the end he was too much hard work for me to bother with. Not sure if he was Chad, but every girl wanted to date him and he was the popular guy in the group.

In college, about 10 years ago.
Gorgeous by anyone's standards, good hygiene. Went to the gym for 3 hours every day and was your typical bro otherwise. Girls drooled all over him, I had competition, but I played it cool since I figured he was out of my league anyway.
Chad comes up to me in the library and asks me for a pen, he left his somewhere. Sure, here you go. I went back to studying, wondering if I should have said more or made eye contact. He walks away and doesn't even say thanks. Comes back a few minutes later and pulls up a chair and "compli-sults" me with "You'd be really pretty if you knew how to put on makeup." Made me super mad but he was right. We had small talk and he asked me out to dinner that weekend.
Dinner was...odd. I found out how dumb he was. He didn't know who Napoleon was. He had no idea that China had a history of over 5000 years. He didn't have a clue about basic things you learn in history or science class in high school. He paid for dinner but I wasn't impressed and didn't really care to see him again, and a few days went by before he reached out to me.
He was amazed how I didn't jump his bones like the rest of the girls at school, how I actually knew stuff. He was literally groveling at my feet. It was kind of cute but super pathetic. We went out to dinner again and I could tell he tried to learn something about Napoleon because he brought up some stuff, but he didn't memorize them properly. B for effort. I told him with swimming and 18 credits I didn't have time to get serious and I didn't want to see him again. He texted me for 2 weeks after and tried to fuck, to no avail. Aside from the occasional party, I didn't see him again for the next 4 years.
Fast forward to now, he dropped out of college I think our second year, has a cashiers job at Target in town near campus, and still hooks up with vapid air-headed college freshmen. Some people never change!
I'm now engaged and expecting our first child. I don't really have anything to compare Chad to because I've only had 3 boyfriends and Chad was so short lived.

What's your exact definition of Chad? Spinning plates is not a quality if you ask me..

I think we can define Chad as a high SMV guy that the majority of women find conventionally attractive.
And you have to sleep with a guy to be a plate. This might be before that, if/when you're just going on dates.
