I recently posted about this guy that I'm dating long distance. We have been dating for three months and I'm still not his girlfriend. We aren't seeing other people (that's what he says at least), he's just extremely busy (this is true). He has said that while he does want a relationship, he's very busy and long distance is difficult.

I know most people will say that I'm a plate, LDRs don't work, etc.. And hey, you're probably right. But I really like this guy and I at least want to give this a fair shot.

How do I bring up being an "official" couple with him without sounding like a clingy bitch? Like, please script it out for me. My emotions tend to get the best of me so I either bottle things up or get crazy emotional. I've been bottling things up lately and I'm about to explode.

Assuming he says he can't commit to serious relationship, what's a classy way to end things? I don't hate this guy, we just don't seem to have compatible priorities. I would like a relationship while he seems to want to focus on his career. That's ok. I want to handle this in the most mature way possible.

As much as I absolutely love spending time with this guy, I can't help but feel like I'm a plate. He has been awfully friendly with one of his female friends on social media lately. We have kept our "relationship" pretty quiet so far, besides his mother and a couple friends. I can't help but feel like he's keeping me a secret. We were talking about visiting each other over the holidays but he hasn't brought it up since... Basically I'm insecure as hell right now and I hate feeling so vulnerable.

I tend to end relationships after 3 or 4 months because I start to think the guy isn't really that interested. Not sure if I'm self sabotaging or if I'm saving myself a heartbreak.

Sorry for being a mess. I'm so stressed and I don't know how to deal.

Update: I texted him and let him know that while I like him a lot I felt like he was too busy for a relationship. He agreed and said that long distance was too difficult for him. It was hard on me too. We ended things and wished each other the best. He still likes me a lot but understands where I'm coming from. He's a good man and I am incredibly sad right now.
