How can we in US tell you what's going on in your country? We don't even know what's going on in US. Nobody understands exactly how this situation got so much out of hand. Your real test will be when you get kids. That's when you'll learn whether you are screwed or not, but then, it'll be too late. Your story so far looks good.

How many guys you know say "marriage is awesome, I'm getting more now than I ever was."? I'll tell you how many... Not a single fucking one. Women change after marriage, that's how they are biologically. Men do not, they want the same thing from women as before marriage, sex. AWALT, even those in other countries.

Maybe you won't get screwed in the divorced in your country, but women are still women, regardless of what country they are from

I'm happy for you. Contrary to what most people in this sub believe, I think that some women are good as well. Don't let this entire thing poison what you have. I'd say that be on the watch and prepare yourself for the worst, but don't destroy your life over something you read on the internet, it's just stupidity. I have read and seen a lot of horror stories of what your wife can do. And I won't be marrying as a result, at least in India where we have 49 laws specifically for protection of women, which are used to extort and manipulate men. A man in my social circle has even committed suicide because of abuse. But, be good to those who support you, and have been with you from the start. You have known this woman since you were nothing, and she stuck with you. See where it goes, and you don't have to marry, it's just unnecessarily involving the government into your personal lives.

A lot of the shit people talk about unicorns and "AWALT" are just the result of years and years of wasted time. Yes, women can turn on a dime and throw away 20+ years of marriage, but first off, so can men, and 2nd, that doesn't mean literally all. There are indeed some unicorns out there.

Given what you described as how the police and in general, the people, handle feminism there and how the girl you mention seems to "know her place" it seems like a fairly good situation to me. Just dont get too attached, and recognize that someday, she may also get infected with feminism the more she hears about it because it is literally an easy way out. Generally, when we say there are no unicorns it means in a country where feminist bitches roam freely which does not look like the case for Mexico. So I dont think you need to worry yet, but remember to cut her off entirely if she starts to support feminism even a little bit.

Remember you have to watch out for yourself first because nobody else will.

I believe you asked in the wrong subreddit. Maybe try r/AITA or hundreds of similar subreddits and you will get the answer you are looking for. (Dont mention MGTOW, or you will get jumped by the NPC mob)

I'm from MX too (Tlalnepantla de Baz) I can tell you that if you are on the lower parts of the "food chain" women do act the same as the US counterparts. I can give you that here are more tolerant to accept lower tier men if you are willing to take an equally lower tier women, also this behavior ( femenism ) is stronger in the big cities and less common in the rest (provincia).

At the end of the day no matter what even though are exceptions, most women would factor what a man can bring to the relation (materialism) before start a relationship, even "sacrifice" themselves for a time for future gains and I believe this is global.

It's been nearly 20 years since I spent time in MX, so take what follows with a grain of salt - it's old data.

When I traveled throughout MX my experiences were that it was about 50 yrs behind the US in terms of cultural issues. What I noticed was that the higher the income level the more the wife wanted to spend/act like their idea of a US housewife. It seemed they expected their husbands to step outside the relationship and were resigned to it so part of living with that was the idea that they'd spend as they liked. They also seemed to watch a lot of US tv for ideas so I'd expect that the current BS permeating US cultural will end up in their social circles.

The lower incomes seemed to have no idea what was going on in the states culturally other than what they saw on the handful of US stations if they saw them.

Well my friend it sounds like you have a very lovely relationship with this woman, she met you at your worst and stuck through with you until you were at a position where you are better off.

A relationship should be a balance of both parties needs and wants within reason of course. You are not an asshole for denying her walks in the park or bike rides but it shouldn't always be a no and at the same time she should indulge in activities that she may not be fond of but you would like to do.

Feminism is going to eventually get it's comeuppance. For all the whining about onlyfans, the true statistics to look at are the marriage rates, birth rates and the gap in suicide rates between the genders. It tells me something I've suspected long since: Men endure solitude better.

It will take a decade or two yet for this to start flipping around - but you're already seeing the first cautious signs of it.
