Why not? Go for it. As long as you’re upfront and transparent/honest, this is a great way to meet a girl with common interests and career path as you. If you get a certain levels of interest from her and have her number, ask her if she wants to get a drink sometime. If she’s clearly not interested, don’t push it at all. That’s how you destroy your rep

I’ve done it before. Things are awkward for a bit after you’ve made a move and they’ve rejected you but they get over it and start treating normally again but that’s if you don’t act or acknowledge the weirdness between you guys. I wouldn’t recommend it. Women you study or work with are those that see you often enough to know if they like you or not and if they do they make it very obvious. They’ve had time to assess your social aptitude etc. Women also tend to avoid dating men they will have to see tomorrow should things go south.

Don't be stupid unless u gonna wife this girl. When I was in med school I was dating one of my classmates for a year or two. It was bad news. The rest of the girls hate u once u start dating others and the drama. Not worth it.
