Did you check the local classifieds for other work, like maybe there are contractors that do painting, or all kinds of other things? When I lived in the country there was tons of manual labour work. Can't be that small of a town if there's a factory in it. Personally I'd take the factory job because I like physical work better than being stuck dealing with people most of the time. Save up then move somewhere better. And I hate factory work, but its not so bad once you're in a routine, you can be in your own mind thinking about things meditating when the work gets repetitive and you start operating on autopilot. That and I hate dealing with people all the time. Its also not as bad if its just temporary and you can save up for something better, that way you don't feel stuck or trapped if you end up hating the job.

Affiliate salesman. The lockdown has been very hard on businesses, many have laid off their inhouse sales staff and now looking for part-time replacements. You have to work on commission basis after negotiating a percentage that pays all the bills.
