Years ago, most ***** upheld traditional virtues and therefore had value in the world so they were worth saving.

Today, they represent nothing of value or moral standards so why should they be "saved first"? Objectively, today's average Joe is worth more to society than one of THEM.

According to Wiki, the whole "***** and children first" was about clearing out the most vulnerable first buuuuut... since we're all about "equality" these days, I say may the best MAN win. Limited lifeboats? Free-for-all it is.

Actually this is a clue. So there are medical reasons why women live longer than men BUT. It is because all throughout history we have been fhe cannon fodder sex to war, and every great tragedy. Its because we have evolved to be the legit tank and hunter of our tribes. We have less nerve receptors than women for the sole purpose of pain tolerance.

However men feel a lot more pain after losing a marriage or a relationship than women. We know why women dont feel it as much because its easier for a woman to find a mate and naturally any man by pure impulse back then would attatch himself for the opportunity of having children. But for men when that anxiety and irritation kicks in Its a survival impulse kicking in screaming at you to do something! Out of fear you will die before you can reproduce or reproduce again. Essentially competition anxiety because In the past only half of the men living had children.

So thousands of years of you dying is what created that and the difference is today we cannot act on what that impulse wants us to do because it is morally wrong.
