Well, I think we are about ten years “behind” Japan.

Women will demand more and more, while giving less and less for relationships. Which will push more and more men out of the market.

This in turn will result in women being at the mercy of the remaining men left that are continuing to try. Since there is a shortage of “good” men left, they will treat these women worse and worse. So women will start being pushed out of the market too.

This will eventually result in both genders hating each other and a large chunk of people remaining single indefinitely.

Society will try various methods to fix the issue without addressing the real issue. None will work and the culture will then proceed to die a slow and steady death until some stronger force over takes is/them.

If there is no outside force to step in, perhaps the problem will actually be solved someday. But that is highly unlikely.

I think nothing will change within 10, 20, 30 or even more years. You can't get rid of all simp population, is impossible. Simps always will exist, there will be men who believe they will find their unicorn. Things only will get worse.

As I said once no matter if MGTOW as a philosophy will die and get forgotten, men with the mindset we got will always exist, different name, different time. The concept is the same.

Regarding the future of men, I believe every country will envolve gradually with its own consecuences, I mean for example, me, who lives on a based third world country, you don't see many men rejecting marriage and that stuff. Instead you see more couples having kids. I remember had read here a post that said feminism amd its variants don't exist on third world countries, that's true partially. What I am saying is within a couple of years third world contries will be in the stage most of you guys already are. Countries from first world will get a gradual clenasation of men, men will still rejecting marriage and women will stop having kids, for a while then everything will over start again due simps and inept social justice system providing single moms and that crap, hope we never get to the point we should pay taxes for "proud moms living alone". I think from where we are is just downhill and women only will get more degenerate and some men even more stupid.

Relationship in women viewpoint is transactional, it is always about what you do for them.

So

As more men forced into reality, we knew what they do because they haven't changed much.

There is a more recent book called The Sovereign Individual that focuses more on how Europe transitioned between the Holy Roman Empire to Merchant Republics and then the modern nation state.

That book proposes that nations will collapse under the burden of the welfare state, which increasingly seems likely as women will require more and more state welfare due to single motherhood becoming the norm and men walking away from the plantation.

Everywhere you look now, it's mostly just women who are talking. Society is already barely acknowledging men anymore. We are, like H.G. Wells put it, becoming like the Morlocks that toil behind the scenes to provide for the Eloi but remain out of sight underground hidden among the machinery of civilization.

I think that at best, The Sovereign Individual offers a good look into the future. It also happened to predict that nation states, feeling their power waning, will resort to extreme measures to keep people on the [tax] farm, such as unleashing a pandemic on the population to create a justification for control.

An interesting read either way, and I think that the general vibe I feel is that we should prepare for centralized systems to decay and break down as more qualified men walk away and get replaced by women, who will not be able to fix big problems. Even smart women are not effective at solving real-world problems. A few at the top of the bell curve are great at abstract problem-solving but that type of thinking isn't going to close the circuit at the power plant and get the juice flowing back to the people left in the dark.

In short, we could be in for a long dark.

Well I see it like this:

The liberal government will either put an extra tax on single bachelors by coming up with some ridiculous way to spin it that since they aren’t getting married they need to help society.
Or single men will be vilified with the help of the media and tech companies by labeling them sexist. And when men won’t care they’ll do number 1.
Society will listen to men and their grievances over how sexist the system is against men. Joking because this will never happen. The billion dollar feminist industry will make sure this isn’t wide spread.
Society will slowly start to collapse. We don’t think this will happen but even Rome fell.
China becomes the superpower faster than we think and when war comes to the states most men won’t do like they did before and give their lives to help society. So China takes over for a few years until even the Chinese men team up with men in general to stop this ridiculous antiMale rhetoric.
Or human race is close to extinction until a few men are left and a lot of women and then men decide not to have kids since it’s not worth it and humans ceases to exist.
Or climate change is really real and no matter what we do or don’t do this planet is doomed and within our lifetimes we’ll see the end times.

It is not war of the sexes. It is war between productive men and the government.

Men produce and women consume. This is how it's always been, and in the past this subsidization of women by men was institutionalized via marriage.

Yeah marriage always sucked, but at least a man got reliable access to sex and (normally) an heir to pass his life's work on to. But the government has wrecked the marriage market, so now the subsidization of women must be by coercion.

Why are women favored by the government? Partly because they raise the next generation of ~~slaves~~ tax-payers and ~~cannon-fodder~~ soldiers from infancy to school age, at which time the ~~indoctrination~~ education system can take over. And partly because they are natural allies in that they always vote for a larger government.

As a productive man, you earn not only your salary, but also the salary of the girl in the next cubicle who is texting Chad all day. Your salary pays not only for your apartment, but also for the apartment of the single mom who beats her kids if she doesn't get her cupcakes and cigarettes. Your 401k pays not only for your retirement but also for the retirement of the neighborhood cat lady who needs money for cat food and box wine in between elections where she can vote dem.

But the coercion has gotten so heavy handed that men are looking around at the clown world idiocy and wondering, why bother? If you are pretty sure you will not get promoted due to diversity constraints, you don't work as hard. You do the minimum and on the side develop skills for when you hop to the next job. If you don't care about impressing a woman, you don't buy that A8L and instead drive that 15 year old Sienna that you can live in if needed or leave on the side of the road if your plans change. You don't invest as aggressively because your money might be needed if you have to cash out and get on a plane because the laws got so wacky.

All this is a huge problem for the government because the economy is no longer small towns and family farms. Aptitude and intangibles matter. The gov can't snap it's fingers and turn a women's studies major into a cloud engineer, or a gang banger into a tax lawyer.

It's hard to say exactly how things will unfold, but my suspicion is that when the gov is backed into a corner the go to response will be to spray fiat at the problem. When TARP started there were people saying, ok a little money printing might help but what happens when the Feds balance sheet hits 100B? And everyone laughed, 100B LOL. And here we are at what, 28B? We'll probably hit 100B before the end of the Biden's first term.

Just make sure you have a passport ready to go.

I remember a society of religious people who basically lost so many men while migrating from New York to Missouri and finally to Utah and Nevada. Many again relocated to the Four Corners region of the US. The out of necessity became polygamists. That arrangement did not work out too well and they fought each other a some point to regain the one man one woman family dynamic. MGTOW could end up like that or a hybrid society. Multiple women might need to share an acceptable 'bull' sort of like a herd of cows do.

We are still in the middle of a chain of causes and events. Industrialization was the cause the led to feminism, feminism is the cause that led to MGTOW forming, MGTOW forming is causing more changes which will be causes of more changes to come.

This also doesn't take into account that much of the western world's economies are based on bubbles which will eventually lead to very high inflation, lower standards of living. Also the appearance of democracy is fading into open oligarchy controlled totalitarianism.

Many things are coming to a head at the same time. If only one thing was happening at a time then we could accurately predict what would happen. However, if we get hyperinflation, totalitarian takeover/populist revolt, and a large scale marriage strike all at the same there is absolutely no predicting how this will all turn out.

Well, its a cause and effect universe. Morons with power has consequences. Morons consistently never learn. History is replete with cycles of Morons trashing things that guys with brains and work ethic built.

Most important is having the overview, seeing where things are heading, getting ahead of the curve, and harvesting opportunities created by the problems, created by the Morons.

Basically its about getting what we want as individuals, which generally is freedom from Morons, their blockages and their extraction.

The good news is we have the tech and resources. Just need to apply our brains and work ethic, and create the designer replacements whilst the current paradigm goes into the shitter, giving us the incentive to create the replacement.

Personally, I like freedom... I dislike Morons and blockages.

So my game is getting past blockages, to get freedom from Morons.

How bad will things get? As bad as it takes to insure the necessary changes, from fake leadership to real.

Real leadership will be guys saying: "screw this shit, I'm outta here."

And coming up with creative ways to meet basic needs, beyond the shit fields of herd mentality.

Gotta remember that the current paradigm is a blink in time in human history. This too shall pass..

And that for hundreds of thousands of years, common man did fine without this shitfest.

So, best not to throw out the baby with the bathwater... Use the current tech and resources, to do even better versions of things that worked for thousands of years.

Aint nobody stoppin' us...

How bad it gets is not our problem, our problem is how good we can make our freedom from the sinking ship.

Sun is still warm, water still makes things grow, birds still chirp happily.

The BS is temporary, its the reality we create for ourselves freed from it that counts.

People forget that the traditional structure was not just about marriage, but arranged marriages. That entire principle has been discarded in our society. But please do consider that it did have its merits.

Think about it - parents raise their sons to be responsible, effective contributors to society. They raise their daughters to be good homemakers and mothers. Those children then are paired off, by the parents, in marriages where both kids are of roughly equal worth/status. The parents, who have experienced marriage and understand what it takes, are probably the most capable of finding/suggesting suitable partners for the children. The children, assuming they are virgins, can then pair bond through sex, will likely bond over their shared predicament of being cast out of the household, and form an actual loving relationship raising a large number of children together. Both children were raised, by their parents, with the tools to fulfill their roles effectively in this marriage. I don't discount the role of the woman in this partnership either - she had a major role in raising the youngest kids and attending to the household while the husband acquired wealth for the family. Both roles were equally vital in the long term.

We have essentially discarded this model for the free-love society. Our culture destroyed the idea of arranged marriages generations ago. Children were given the freedom to find their own partners - which has proven more often than not to be disasterous - and who didn't expect it? Kids aren't smart, they think through their emotions, boys struggle with what to look for in future wives (overvaluing physical appearance) while women destroy their value by having rampant sex with everyone. Their children are then negatively affected, and the cycle repeats itself.

Human society didn't just develop these ideas because they are a bunch of backwards bigots. These ideas tended to be the ones that led to the most advanced/functioning societies. The ones that domesticated all the crops, animals, created the technologies for sanitation, food preservation, and industry. We marvel at our ability to build microchips and rocket ships, but without the foundations laid down hundreds of years ago - we would still be banging sticks together to make fire. I think this realization is going to come to a head here soon.. probably in another world war.
