I always say, "I totally understand. I wish you all the happiness in the world and hope you find everything you are looking for." And I genuinely mean it. I have a positive outlook on life and truly care for people, but don't get easily attached. I don't feel hurt when someone rejects me; it is much better than dragging out a deteriorating relationship.

Then I get on with my day and continue to be happy. I meet the other women I am seeing and enjoy my life.

The unintended consequence of this is that nine times out of ten, they end up contacting me within a couple of weeks/months to hook up. That turns into a FWB situation, which she either accepts (sometimes) or pulls away from because she is looking for "commitment" (usually).

Either way, I'm fine.

It is all about abundance.
