Looking back on my life I can say without question that getting married was the worst decision I ever made. It brought me nothing but a decade of misery followed by years of financial woes.

Even still after divorce I am far happier then I ever was a single day of my marriage. My only wish is that I could go back and warn myself to never get married. I can only imagine how awesome my life would be right now if instead of chasing a woman I had chased my dreams.

Well, I'm not depressed or angry... Got to spend $500 yesterday in a third world economy area where farm labor is around $10 a day for hard labor.

ie 50 day's pay for the average working slob...

I barely noticed the check out girls, and on the biggest ticket item, the store owner himself had to write up my sale... second major appliance, I've bought in his store recently, and have bought all kinds of other expensive stuff like monster gel cel batteries for my 12V system etc.

Its a Chinese businessman, likely has hundreds of thousands of dollars in stock and building, and he is invariably happy to see me.

Quite chummy...

And at my usual Chinese market, the Mom of the family sees me and comes over to greet my by my first name.. happy to see me....

And any time I ask for help, they jump right on it.

Then on way home at my little Cow town Chinese Market, paid for a hundred dollars worth of Mutt Rations, and joking with the Chinese owner...

Has become obvious to me that the way to Chinese business people's heart is thru their cash register...

Theyre fun, and hard working.

So I'm not depressed and lonely, I'm spending hunks of money exactly as I see fit, and enjoying watching the reactions.....

If I was married etc. All I'd be good for is pushing the cart in stores, and coughing up the bucks...

And have to listen to some dumb woman trying to decide how to blow my money on stupid shit.

Instead, I'm waiting for Genny O'Clock, to try my brand new refridgerator... gotta figure out if I can freeze ice jugs in the freezer and transfer to the bottom, and use it like a self feeding ice cooler. And how often I need to run the Genny how long to make it work...

Just an expedient, until I move back to US, and can buy a few more solar panels...

Gonna be a life change starting this morning... about 35 years without refridgeration.

But everything I own is paid for... have only used credit three times in my entire life. Have never made a house payment, nor paid over a couple hundred in rent.

And always paid contracts off early... screws up the compounding interest system bad when you do that...

Angry? Depressed? Lonely?

Hardly!

More like actually enjoying life on a daily basis...

And by the way, got a 69 acre farm in Costa Rica, for my kids, by taking risks, and being frugal...

Its paid for too...

Turning 38 this year. I’ve seen all my ex’s get married, pop out a kid or three and now start calling me again because their marriage failed. Year after year I keep hearing the same story. And year after year I keep smiling that I never let myself get trapped like that. Gentlemen thank you for your stories they really are appreciated. It reminds me just how much these leeches use us at every chance they get.

The same dots are connected in ways that seem to favor women.

Yes, women are saying No - by their left swipes, by not willing to marry the good guy in their beta orbit. And men who are conditioned to the original American dream - a wife, 2 kids and a sub-urban home; might feel upset about it.

But then people move on; the skin of the women shows signs of ageing which we call the wall slam, the men whom they are attracted to and for whom they rewarded with sex in anticipation of a commitment are no more responding to their pings.

The nice guys then moved on to focus on themselves and when the same women came back to them post the wall slam, the relationship doesn't seem worth it: it is not like rejecting the women is a power trip, the way how they earlier rejected men; in this case it is a very thorough understanding of men's future in the marriage through the divorce rapes and it is primarily to avoid that pain/suffering.
