Hey guys, I was out with a few friends and was ordering some food and as I was paying the girl/cashier asked me what I got. I couldn't really hear her properly and so I had to lean over, and I was pretty shy/nervous (lots of fidgeting and not looking at her eyes etc). She was giggling a little and laughing as I was speaking really shyly.

Why does this keep happening? I'm sick and tired of cashier girls giggling and laughing at me in shops, do these girls just see me as subhuman because I'm shy?
