I earned a BA Philosophy and a BA Literature in undergrad because I fucking loved it, went to law school and graduated at the top 5% of my class. I took a biglaw job making 180k for a few years, then opened a small town practice outside of a major city because I fucking felt like it.

110k in small town law probably isn't sexy enough for most women, but I wake up thrilled about my job every day.

I couldn't have done that without endless bitching about dropping 70k in income for happiness.

You retain all your free time as opposed to taking care of your responsibilities as a family man.
You can get along with much less money, since the biggest responsibility of a family man is to make money for his family.
You are much less stressed, since you don't have to deal with a wife and kids.
You can not be betrayed, because betrayal necessitates intimacy, and if you are alone, nobody can betray you. Intimacy can only happen at the expense of independence, however independene can only exist at the cost of intimacy.
To sum it up, you are free, invulnerable, unbetrayable, without stress from family life.

But you get this at the cost of having no sex, having no life partner, having no children. I don't care what anybody say, sex is best in a relationship. ONSs can be fun too, but not as good. Having a life partner who is loyal and affectionate is wonderful, and while the current state of women is despicable to say the least, women naturally are not inferior morally than us. Women are traumatized by betrayal too. No kids isn't a big deal for some men, but it is for the rest.

Long: Any relationship with any woman in this country is automatically being involved in a cucked relationship where the real husband is the US government.
