Sure it is. And it's more practical to accept it as a fact (invoking Chesterton's Fence) and use it to everybody's benefit.

It's nearly impossible to focus on scientific pursuits without the constant drive associated with testosterone and lack of better alternatives for getting attention. Same with Information Technology, by the way.
