So whadya guys think? I am going to say this: If you are going to marry someone, it's imperative to find out if they are in considerable debt. If you find out they are or they admit to it, then do not create any joint accounts until their debt issues are resolved. Being in debt can make people desperate and likely to behave in selfish ways.....That is, they're marrying for utility not because they actually want you. I also think that prenuptial agreements are absolutely essential when your fiancee' has a lot of debt hanging over their head.
