I've noticed, many women (and some simped out men) talking about the benefits of the MGTOW lifestyle, and talking about the fact that the benefits of this lifestyle tend to evaporate when a man hits 50, or when a man gets sick (or even temporarily disabled), and that in such a scenario it pays off to be married.

So, having mulled all this over (and over again), I've come to a conclusion that it's way better to be alone when you're sick and you're in need of medical attention/supervision.

Whenever a married friend of mine gets sick or gets into some kind of accident, their "loving" wives / better halves either get mad (the beta provider has stopped to provide) or take inadequate care of them.

Furthermore, having a wife and children, you inevitably have less available financial resources to spend on your own health. Whereas those of us who have only themselves to look after can afford the highest quality medical care without their wive's nagging "stop spending so much on yourself think of the family!".

In 2019 I fell and hurt my knee, I ended up getting stitches and being partially incapacitated due to the injury. Having no wife/gf I did what seemed the most reasonable and logical at that time, namely hired a private nurse to come once in a few days to clean my wound and to apply some ointment with antibiotics. I also hired a maid to help me with the chores. All that set me back about 5k (the fees of the nurse were partially covered by my insurance). In the end I recovered and kept on working as if nothing had happened.

After hearing all those stories about women abandoning men in time of need and even sometimes suing and divorcing them when they get ill and can't provide anymore.

I think if I had had a wife or a gf when that unpleasant incident occurred, I would have wound up being judged for my own injury, not being able to recover as quickly as I had (because the wife would have been nagging me all the time) and it's a scientific fact that when you in a stressless environment you get well way more rapidly then when you're in a constant state of stress. And on top of that I would have probably wound up not even getting any professional medical care (the wife would have said "I'll clean your wound myself" and would either have fucked everything up and would have just said something like "you're a man, so man up and let it heal by itself".

Having said that, all that mumbo-jumbo nonsense about "single men living less than their married counterparts" is indeed sheer nonsense and pure BS.
