Hey,

I’ve had two experiences now with two different girlfriends that were not very similar. I understand the overarching concepts of dread game and competition anxiety, but I was hoping someone could explain the following two scenarios in finer detail.

Scenario 1:

I was leaving girlfriend to go visit a friend. She says to me “guess I’ll have to find someone else to keep me warm this weekend.” I replied the exact words back teasingly “I guess I’ll have to find someone to keep me warm this weekend.” For the entire time I was gone, she was blowing my phone up. And gave me head first thing after waking the first morning we were together - something she had never done before.

Scenario 2:

Another girlfriend was leaving my place to go on a week long vacation. She says to me “I am sorry for leaving jewelry everywhere in your apartment” after we both noticed an earring on my nightstand. I replied in a teasing manner “you should be, it really bothers my other girlfriends.” She laughed and said something similar to me in return. Like scenario 1, the girl was glued to me while we were separate constantly blowing up my phone, telling me she loved me, she was sorry for shit she had done, and was horny and super excited to me.

I’m still having trouble pounding this reality into my head. Sometimes I get insecure that saying shit like what I said in these two scenarios would encourage infidelity on part of the girls. Seems like every time I’m the guiltiest and feel bad about how I’m treating my girl, the more turned on and responsive she is to me. What is up with this? Can someone explain dread on a deeper level?
