Airline pilots are trained very rigorously to deal with this kind of situation, to the point that it should almost be muscle memory. That's also why aircrews come in pairs and Cockpit Resource Management is a staple thing for pilots, so that one is not bearing the full load of the emergency.

Plus, the aircraft in question, a Boeing 717, although old for 2018, is designed to fly with one engine should the other fail. And there are procedures in place for the pilots to follow to get the aircraft down safely, which it did.

This speaks more about her than it does the airline. If I were a passenger, I would not feel safe knowing this pilot was possibly having a mental breakdown in the cockpit for an emergency she should be trained to deal with while the other pilot had to step up to the plate to get the plane down safely by themselves.

like if the plane crashes and 200 people die due to bad maintenance thats not acceptable

and its not because of her being a woman shes suing them because the engine failed due to proper treatment and it traumatized her

women can feel trauma too
