in my home country (southeast asia so it's perpetual summer, i just moved back from the UK where i wore sweaters all day) the perverted old uncles don't say anything but they straight up STARE at you... and eye you up and down... this is regardless of what you wear. i've seen scrotes literally stop in their tracks and stare at me, moving their head up and down. it's fucking revolting.

if they approach me or say something you bet your ass i am immediately shouting back or retaliating. but when it's just staring, i feel so helpless, like just a piece of meat that cannot even react.

I'm so sorry. I totally know how you feel, I dealt with that a lot. I'd always come away feeling gross and horrible and it's not fair. I'll share with you what I started doing.

Cut him off instantly! I know that when we're out in public and someone speaks to us we feel like we have to at least be polite and respond. We DO NOT. Predators use our sense of politeness to their advantage to get us to engage.
