As with any relationship those things are dealt with the two people in the relationship. Sometimes its the man that cooks, sometimes its the woman, sometimes it the man that cleans sometimes its the woman. I am all for traditional roles but it is still beneficial for everyone to know basic cooking and cleaning. When my grandma needed surgery my grandad was helpless during the time she was on hospital and then recovery. And life happens so some basic skillset really helps.

I understand the part where they expect men to pay for meals and contribute financially while they are jobless and still won't do a single thing.. But men expecting women to cook and clean and saying that's the way it should be isn't good. There are many wives who go out and work and the husbands take care of the house. There are couples where both earn and look after the house equally.

Saying a woman is expected to just cook and clean and calling it tradition in 2020 is clearly old school in a bad way.
