Again, it’s an unverified screenshot of an instagram story.

The comment I replied to is making the point that all feminists and “SJWs” are “silent” on this, because apparently feminism is when you do fraud in his eyes, ignoring the fact that this didn’t happen and that there’s literally nothing in this that’s tied to feminism.

But even assuming by some chance that someone did do this- why the fuck would feminists blindly believe a scribbled-out screenshot to be a valid source? Why would they talk about an issue that doesn’t exist prominently?

I looked, actually, out of interest. I searched on Google News. Here’s what I found;

Still not a woman scamming, I’ll keep scrolling though.

Women charged for extortion through dating sites

Ah, success! After 4 pages, a 2016 case of a woman extorting men by threatening to reveal their affairs to their families. I’d argue cheaters deserve that, but hey, you got me, there’s a case over extortion for abortion money. Hopefully no innocent man got caught up in that because I would genuinely feel bad for them.

And then nothing else on the 6 pages of google news results. There’s really, really dodgy source on a Harvard Professor getting extorted, but I can’t verify any of the contents and the content is unashamedly one-sided, so haven’t included here. But even including that, we’re even on the men-to-women scammer ratio. So where’s your rationale behind “many cases of this happening” and “women believe they’re entitled to things because they’re women”?

Wouldn’t expect it from an emotionally-stunted man-child, to be honest, but good on you for being secure in your lack of emotional intelligence, I guess?

Interesting to see how so many here stout Peterson as a god, a debate king, yet all they’ve done since I’ve said “maybe don’t be a reactionary dipshit and believe an instagram screenshot to be true without proof” is go off-topic or downvote. I say interesting, I mean painfully predictable, but hey, maybe some of you will grow out of it.

I’ll just repeat once more: stop believing random bullshit just because it affirms your close-minded worldview. Feminism isn’t when you do fraud or extort innocent people. Feminism isn’t blindly hating men and you need to stop watching “fEmiNiSt ReKkED aNd oWnEd” compilations if you want a fair representation of 99.99% of actual feminists. Maybe talk to an actual feminist. Or just an actual woman. It might help you.

Thats 4 cases i found in a matter of 2 minutes... I never even said anything about falsifying pregnancies i was talking about self- entitlement. And just because the guy cheated doesnt mean its justified. She could have easily just have told his wife but no she wanted money from him. Me having found 4 cases does not mean there are only 4 cases in the world.

And to your points A) you weren''t saying feminists wouldn't be ok with extortion. You were saying it doesn't happen. And B) just because it doesnt happen on a tangible scale as a crime doesn't mean it doesn't happen in day to day lives.

Men are expected to pay. Take dates for example many women still hold the idea that it is rude for a man to even consider splitting the bill with them. Heres an example

even in the so-called modern world where women are said to earn just as much economically as men so they can provide for themselves easily. Many women still want the benefits of being "oppressed" That doesnt yell "we want equality" to me.

?? Did you actually watch that video? You linked a TV show talking about friends splitting the bill vs paying for what you eat. Maybe try watch the 3 minute video before you stout it as empirical evidence of something

the person who asked the other on the first date is typically expected to pay the bill. that is a courtesy thing, not a male thing, because that’s what happens in same-sex relationships too. Sure, some outliers and people with materialistic taste in people exist, but the idea that men should always pay all the bill is super, super antiquated and isn’t really much of a thing nowadays. There’s more people complaining about it being a thing than there are people who actually want it to be a thing. But that’s not societal oppression, and if you can’t get a girl without dropping a shed load of money, that’s on you. So it has nothing to do with this.

Okay, slight revision to my earlier point, then; this doesn’t happen on any quantifiable scale to the point where random feminists could be in a position to ignore this. It’s not wide spread. It’s fraud and manipulative and it’s not a feminist idea to trick someone into thinking they’ve impregnated you.

Okay, let’s say you found 400 cases worldwide. That’s still not prevalent. The fact you can only find 3 means that it’s not anywhere near a common occurrence. So my point stands- this doesn’t happen on any noticeable scale. You get more people sexually assaulted by dolphins. So expecting a group of people to collectively disavow something so unlikely to happen is idiotic.

And I personally disagree on “even if you cheat on your wife it’s not okay to threaten you with the consequences of your actions”. He could’ve just... left his wife. He could’ve just not fucked someone else knowing full well it’d get exposed at some point. So either live with the consequences or pay up. I don’t lose any sleep at the thought of someone unfaithful losing money because of their choice to ruin their marriage & their kids expectations of marriage & relationships. Neither should you. It’s not “women being entitled”, it’s “awful cheater getting karma”. Also; theft is a majority-male crime? Your logic fails to apply here.

Oh, and on your last point, in my very company I work at there’s still a wage gap. We’re required to publish it by law here. There is, even by conservative metrics, at least a 10-35% paygap in virtually all countries.

But that’s not what’s being discussed, because the fact is very few people expect men to pay for all their dates and paying for someone’s $30 meal isn’t really a societal oppression when there are a million other things than a dinner to take a lady.

So that really doesn’t speak to some weird entitlement you seem to think is common in women. It’s not. It’s common in badly-raised people, sure, but my god is it much more common in men than women. This sub is literally full of users thinking they’re entitled to a date or a relationship with women just because they wouldn’t cheat.

Quite a few women expect to be pampered for their 'needs' while still having the pride to call themselves "independent" Let me tell you the number of times i see "women prefer tall men because it makes them fell more secure" and then those same people say "women dont need men" and "women are the stronger sex"

I never said this problem was big enough for feminists to care. In fact i dont care what feminists do or dont care about. Im just saying its not like this is the only example of it ever happening. (And i dont care what the guy did. The fact that the women did it for the money shows she wasn't in it for the "justice" they were both wrong) and i never said anything about theft being done by women but thieves are seen as scum by society. Self entitled women are seen as normal.

And about the pay gap. It takes too long to explain so im just gonna make this one point In 2015 asian american men earned 117% more (24$/hr) than white american men (21$/hr) Now do you think thats becausw white people were being discriminated against? Of course not. Then perhaps there were actually several other factors at play?

Saying "having to pay 30$ for someons meal isnt really societal oppression" is the same as me saying "having to raise kids for your working husband isnt exactly societal oppresion"

And you've lost me with that last paragraph. If you genuinely think the 4 comments that you've seen show men are entitled. Please grow up.

Society has done a good job of brainwashing men into believing women can do no wrong, despite their actions repeatedly showing otherwise.

Regular guy: time for me to man up and support you and that child. It's okay bae, I love you no matter what. As a matter of fact, let's get married. For some reason you being pregnant has make me want to bend over backwards for you and the kid. I know we just broke up, but fuck that, you have a kid and now I want to get back together and marry you for some strange reason. And don't worry I trust you 100% and won't be requiring a paternity test. I'm just going to believe it's mine cause you said so, and women just don't lie about that sutff.
