Here is my opinion as a black man: It's virtue-signaling. These leftist women, and the white men they bonk, are just doing what is in vogue. These days, the easiest way to get into the elite class is to espouse woke and progressive ideology and part of that involves being anti-white (working class and conservative and heterosexual white) and pro POC (not hard working or conservative or christian POCs, but criminals, thugs, degenerates and bigots). Look at Sarah Jeong; the Korean cnut who went on several anti-white tirades and got hired by the New York Times. She has a white boyfriend. Look at Meghan Markle!
