I just turned 25 and finished a bachelor in psychology and going to resume a master's in HR. I already have a decent a part-time job that I can turn into a full-time at a moment's notice. One scenario that came to my mind was to finish the master's and then find a 9 to 5 job and pursue my career in HR.

But I really don't feel like doing it. Working part-time and studying already sucked enough of my soul. However, it's still manageable to a certain extent. I can get a lot of studying done in a short period of time and enjoy the rest of my free time doing productive things like working out, traveling and other hobbies like filmmaking, videogames, photography...etc.

Seriously. I do a lot of things that I genuinely enjoy and I don't want a full-time job to stop me from doing these things.

This is why I'm considering going for a PhD after finishing with the master's. And then maybe find a job as a researcher/lecturer or pull the trigger and get into a proper company. In other words that's when my full-time career will properly start. Do you guys think it's too late? I'll be 32.

Granted I won't be owning shit like a car, a house and the such, but I'll probably have lived my life to the fullest doing the shit I want. And then I'll be able to calm down and settle with a wife or whatever.

But I don't know. Having a career this early means financial security in the future. What are your experiences boys?
