I was just watching it last night and wow it is so saddening.

I watched this episode where this couple went around “House Hunting” for a new home but while they were looking the wife had a grocery list of things she needed to have in the home which made the husband go $20,000 over budget—while the guy was happy with just a nice 3 car garage. There was one part where the guy made a suggestion for a man cave and she just said “yeah..maybe somewhere down the line” and the wife chuckled with the realtor.

On top of that there will be these cringey little marriage jokes—like the guy will say “this is over budget, honey” and the woman will just give this little chuckle that says “haha you’re still buying it if you want to keep me baby” And you know the guy is paying for the whole thing.

My parents were in the room with me while I was watching and my dad said “Here’s a tip for the future, son. When you buy a house with a woman you will go over budget. You have a budget, she doesn’t” And both my parents just nervously chuckled together and it was just so uncomfortable. Cringey ass marriage joke.

I feel so bad for the men in this show. But anyways, GYOW.
