Basically, at home, my family has a puppy (that we recently got given).

We've been taking good care of it. However, the only issue is my mom occasionally gives it fatty, oily human foods instead of regular dog food and healthy treats.

I caught my mom doing it today again and told her to stop doing it and not do it in the future. She kind of laughed and brushed it off, meaning she didn't take me seriously. This seriously pissed me off and I told my dad (who was on my side) and he reminded her the same thing.

My question here is that when my mom didn't take me seriously, it pissed me off so i ''raised my voice (just by a little bit though - maybe 30%)''. All this ''alpha'', ''red pill'' indoctrination taught me to always stay calm, never get emotional blah blah blah. How are you supposed to stay calm and relax when you're not even being taken seriously?

I seriously felt I had to raise my voice by like at least 60% to make her take me seriously. Sometimes, trying to stay calm and expect people to listen to you isn't the best. You've got to induce in them a sort of fear or discomfort.

Anyways, looking forward to hear ''what I could have done instead'' to produce the desired outcome of her actually taking me seriously and listening to me.

The whole theme of this post may appear a bit odd, but its these little things that I like to question. The general idea is that a man should always stay calm, unemotional, logical, composed. Therefore, at times/situations like these where I do get angry, I have to question myself and dig deep to find answers that will allow me to better myself in the future.
