Being an artistic programmer can get you a lot of money. The average programmer sucks at art.

Programming. I took the art route and I'm happy I did, but I didn't see a decent salary until I had 6 years of experience.

I would definitely do art as your side hussle, hobby, creative outlet.

Programming. If it doesn't work you can always get a job making 70-120k a year as a developer for an established company.

If art doesn't work, you're screwed.

buddy of mine took the art route.. is an amazing artist with charcoal, can make lifelike drawings, really impressive.. he's 35 now and lives with his mom with no job and no savings.. he's done odd-jobs here and there but nothing stable. and he's very talented.

Either that you’re good at.

If you want to be wealthy, you need to get good at sales and financial management. You won’t have wealth regardless of you do otherwise.
