This is not the way I interpreted things. This man threw his plate with food on it, probably amashing the plate in the process because he was angry that it was mac and cheese, and not nuggets and chips. If you can get that angry about something this minor, as well as dying in a video game then you have some serious anger issues. She should have left the Wi-Fi on and not done anything, but really he should not be in any sort of relationship even if he wasn't a man wanting to go his own way, because he has severe anger issues. I would be very surprised if he does not become physically or verbally abusive to her in the future, because that's what it is looking like.

Also, i don't think he pays for just the internet. He probably pays for most of the expenses (house/rent, utilities etc.)
