Hi, new here and just wanted to share where I am in my life. Husband uses cheating to "get back" at me when he is angry I guess. Fucking weird ass dude. Anyway leaving him. We don't have much money, so I'm giving him a three month notice starting the 19th, once I start my new job.

It's kinda hard for me to read some of these posts bc I'm still going in and out of sheer anger and the posts get to me. I really wanna just heal. I have forgiven myself for putting me in a situation with someone who needed a mother more than they needed a partner. The RED FLAGS were so glaring. But it's okay, I fell for the rhetoric of the chill gamer girl role. 🙄 But anyway. I got the most amazing daughter out of it, and maybe that's all it was for. Bc I couldn't imagine her any other way.

Excited to get on my own for the first time in my life. Get my glow and happiness back, show my kid what it means to be a women. And get my ass into therapy asap.

I hope you ladies are having a great week so far!! I hope I can call on you all for advice once the actual separation takes place. I wish I could do this one on one with him but he spaces out and dissociates. Gonna have to have lawyer right out the gate.

I think he was hoping when I told him this relationship is exhausting and I don't wanna do it anymore, well now is my chance to get some strange and not feel guilty. Hahaha wtf this isn't a game, dude. It's my life. I asked him why does he want to live like this? Who is this benefiting and to what end?

I will be speaking to someone who can do family therapy as well. I don't want my kid growing up dealing with a disconnected dad...and boy does he know how to disconnect from reality.
