I’m looking for guidance for my future career.

In roughly 1.5 years I’ll be done with the military and re-entering the private workforce. I’ll be almost 25 by then. I have a BA degree in business marketing, which I’ve found to be not super marketable (haha jokes on me). My long term goal is financial independence by age 40. My short term goal is to be able to travel full time while working and living in a van/camper/truck. I see two careers that fit this either nursing (travel nursing 8-12 week gigs) or getting a CS job and working remote. Nursing school and CS school would be about 2 years fully paid by Uncle Sam. I want to work full time while saving cash and having the freedom to pursue rock climbing/hiking or whatever the fuck I want. Which of these is more viable option and why?

What I want- 1.freedom to travel the US and go where I please. 2.Salary that will cover my expenses and help me reach financial independence by age 40 3.the work can be “soul crushing” as long as I am free to pursue travel whenever and where ever I please.

Any suggestions?
