Hi everyone, what's your experience with your partner earning less than you? I've just got a promotion and a raise with it, and am now going to be on 15k more than my boyfriend. He's been in an on and off mood anyway but I'm pretty sure this has made him even more insecure and obsessed with how tight he is with money.

I know the pandemic has put pressure on everyone but honestly he's driving me up the walls lately. He congratulated me and seems happy for me, but I can't shake the feeling that part of his mood swing is because men always feel the need to be the big earners in a relationship.
