We have been dating for 4 years. Both mid 20s. We have lived together for 2 years. He has some LVM qualities as well as HVM qualities.

HVM qualities:

Whenever I need him he's always there, if I call him he will always pick me up no matter what. Before we lived together he would drive 3h every weekend to see me.

He never gets jealous and isn't controlling at all.

He never expects sex. He never pressures me into doing anything I don't want to and respects my boundaries. He always makes me orgasm when we're having sex, no matter how long it takes and if it's late at night and he has to be up early.

When we get into heated arguments, he will never insult me or swear at me or do anything that would be a red flag.

He is patient and understanding. For example, if we're going out he will wait for me without complaining until I'm ready. If he's picking me up from somewhere, sometimes he has waited an hour and not complained.

He thinks about how his actions will affect my feelings. For example, sometimes he doesn't play an online game on a Saturday night because he knows that will upset me if we don't spend time together.

He used to get up at 5am to take me to work everyday (at the start of the relationship).

He will dedicate time to help me - he has spent hours and hours helping me learn a module for university.

LVM qualities:

I have a higher sex drive than him and he doesn't want to have sex a lot of the time. (This is the biggest issue in the relationship as I feel rejected a lot and unwanted.)

I like physical contact and touch and don't get that from him. I also like words of affirmation and he never compliments me.

He doesn't support feminism (I think he just doesn't understand it) and thinks men and women are already equal (I know).

When I'm ill or on my period, he doesn't look after me. He won't offer to make me food or even a tea or cuddle with me or do a chore that needed to be done.

He spends a lot of time playing video games and we don't spend much time together on the whole.

He doesn't do any chores around the house unless I ask him repeatedly. He doesn't take any initiative. He also doesn't want to go food shopping with me because he hates it and I do most of it.

He never cooks for me, but sometimes if I cook something nice for myself he will expect to have some.

He earns a decent amount of money (pretty average income but for his age it's good), way more than me, but we split everything 50/50.

He has forgotten my birthday and anniversaries in the past and not gotten me a present for Christmas one year.

He doesn't go to dinner at my parents house when we're both invited.

Before one of his friends insulted me unprovoked, and I had to tell him to defend me, but he remained friends with him, but claims they're not as close anymore.

If I bring up an issue in the relationship, for example "I feel like I've been doing more housework recently, could we both contribute equally?", he has an "here we go another argument" attitude and feels attacked instead of trying to communicate and work things out.

He has slut shamed girls in the past that in men's eyes might be "trashy" and like sex which gave me the ick. I called him up on it and he doesn't do it anymore.

Somebody made a comment that he's "punching" with me and it offended him and he disagreed saying that I'm the one punching.

He doesn't feel lucky to have me and I feel like he doesn't appreciate me.

That should all sum it up, tell me when you all think.

Edit: He does all of his own cooking. He sometimes wants to eat what I cook because I'm a good cook. Even though I constantly have to ask him to be doing chores, he does do them when I ask him to.
