I wasn't very sociable when younger and that has clearly been a disadvantage.

However, I had a good circle of friends, but this didn't result in anyone ever introducing me to anyone single, or indeed any women at all.

It doesn't necessarily follow at all that just because you have friends you will somehow meet women.

Chances are, if you have a good circle of friends, unless they’re all neckbeards who solely work $10 an hr jobs in fast food and play rpg games, that you’ll be successful enough in dating. There are exceptions, but generally the same skills are important in many facets of life

Most single guys I know just work all day and go home. They don’t have the time to attend RedPill seminars and hang around bars. Online dating is simpler, but very hard to get dates.

Hard to maintain a friendship with guys who are coupled/married. Why? They are too busy being coupled/married. And they want married friends.

The quickest way to loose your job today is to flirt with women at work (U.S.)

Usually work related, although I’ve been to meetups. The last one, the group was told that the meetup was not for dating, so no flirting permitted.

hobbies

My hobbies don’t have a lot of women in them.

I didn’t really have the chance to make a real solid friend group freshman year of college, but I should be able to once I get back, and I’ll see where it goes from there.

Maybe, I think it’s a factor in average to slightly above average guys failures. It’s not like I had a bad social life, but didn’t really include a lot of people of opposite gender in the circles. I think very attractive people it doesn’t matter and I also think no matter how big of a circle you have ugly people are kinda fucked

https://twitter.com/DKThomp/status/1419326343167287299 the social life of many Americans has collapsed and it's probably gender asymmetric (men are going to be worse off than women). There are several reasons for this but the bottom line is yes social life is a limiting factor for a lot of men.

You need both a decently sized social circle and the right type of social circle (a lot of unsuccessful men have friends groups, but those friends are all other nerd men) to be consistently successful in meeting women the "old fashioned" way.
