My friend/co-worker barely has anything in savings, whereas I have enough to last me 2 years without working. Yet our wages are the same, we put in OT, and we have side hustles.
Come to find out, he’s helping to pay his girlfriend’s ridiculous student loans from the time she attended nursing school (she dropped out. Lmao). She also recently got her masters in Human Resources, which he’s also helping to pay. In total, I’d guess she owes north of $70k.
I hate receiving unsolicited advice, so I kept my mouth shut and didn’t offer him any. But, man, that sucks for him.
He’s also a Chad —6’0”, high school basketball coach (as his side hustle), and is in good shape.
