Now if she sent you a stupid picture without you asking and you replied lame, that can be alpha. But you can dismiss her attempts more jokingly without saying lame. Do you understand?

Sounds to me like your texts were pretty fucking dry and boring. If you're trying to build rapport through text (which is actually somewhat viable if you're in high school), then you can't be asking go to questions that every orbiter in the world asks like "What did you get for Christmas?"

Alpha means having the mentality that you are "the catch" and you have other options, not acting like you're her douchebag brother. If you are in high school like I am, shoot me a message and I can try to elaborate.

On the alpha and beta behavior, no, you didn't. You had a very poor strategy for the conversation though.

Drawing stuff. (open end, possibility of developing the subject. It can't be said whether she was interested or not though, you didn't post the conversation)
Send me one? (you narrowed the subject down a lot, open end)
No, they're not good. (open end, but she's fishing for attention, she probably wants you to insist, or comfort her and change subject)
Lame. (the conversation was closed. she can't do anything but bring another subject. She didn't want to.)
