I've often heard a lot of MGTOW folks say that MGTOW does not recruit men, they just watch the men come to them. And quite frankly, I've been starting to realize that that may be coming true to me.

What brought me to MGTOW? Well, first, I need to discuss what really brought me to the tipping point. I've spent a lot of time on social media these days, especially TikTok (I know, I'm sorry, but it's quarantine and I'm a bored and lonely teenager, ok?), and the sheer amount of gynocentrism, misandry, and just raw, unabridged hatred and mindlessness from women on social media has really rubbed me the wrong way for the last year or so. But for the most part, I've been able to stomach it. I've been able to look past it and tell myself that social media is not real life, that it's just a crazy small minority getting more attention than they deserve. What really tipped me over was seeing a post today on the app where this girl was rambling on about how men are pedophiles because they like feminine women (i.e. thinner women with more defined collarbones who are clean-shaven, because it's not like women have ever wanted clean-shaven men either). This pissed me off so, so, so, much, not only because it was completely stretching logic and just frankly full of shit, but because of what I saw on the side.

I think deep down, these women know it's full of shit. I don't think women are dumb. But the pure narcissism and need for ego-boosting I see from women is so atrocious, so despicable, so disgusting, I simply could not take it anymore.

I think the interesting thing about social media is just how many women have absolutely zero filter on it. They'll post the most rude, uncalled for things, oftentimes for clout and attention. But at the same time, it's allowed the rest of us to be able to see, publicly-displayed, the true, raw female psyche. Their true nature. And when I start observing what goes on in the real world, outside of social media, all the sudden, a lot of things are starting to make a lot more sense to me.

The pure gynocentrism, narcissism (both in the form of grandiose narcissism and self-hatred narcissism), and hivemind mentality of so many women (and white-knight men) that I know in real life has become a lot more apparent to me now. In the past, I always had that creeping feeling it was there, but I never had a label or name to put on it. But now, it's on full display.

Of course, not all women are like this. I have good friends who are women. I've had romantic interests who were women, most of whom I still have fond memories of. And of course, I have a mother, who I love. I'm not writing what I'm writing today from the perspective of hate. I'm writing from the perspective of frustration. Of exhaustion.

I'll be moving away to the West Coast soon for college. I don't plan on cutting off relations with women. I want that college experience, after all, whatever it may be for me. But I do not know if I will be looking for any monogamous relationship with women soon, if ever.

What I've seen and learned from MGTOW is this: women are not the prize. They are not the end goal in life. They are not the kweens they think they are; they are flawed and un-special. We do not owe them a single thing.
