To make a long story short, I fell victim to all the classic mistakes. Thought I met my unicorn, thought all the rules didn't apply to this one, you know the drill.

Well when we found out she was pregnant, I of course urged abortion. She couldn't bring herself to go through with it, and i, being blinded by feefees committed to doing anything in my power to help her raise the child. If all else fails, I won't back out on that commitment...to the child.

Well, a series of recent conversations and occurrences have made it abundantly clear that I am, in fact, a fucking idiot. She's at the point where she can finally drop the unicorn act and, yeah, you know how this story ends.

The one glimmer of hope is that she is deeply questioning her ability to go through with this, and expressed regret at not taking me up on the abortion.

Here's the clincher: she's at 6 months as of today. Both of our families are aware, excited, and we're more or less on track to do all the shit happy couples are supposed to do.

Is there anything that can be done at this point? Now that the facade has been dropped, without going into much detail, let's say I'm going as far as to weigh the pros and cons of doing some truly unconscionable things. Situation is BAD. And not just for me, bringing a child into this is just not right.

Please help, I'm lost.
