Pretty new to MGTOW, but have found a lot of anti-liberal content

I do not really think being a feminist and being MGTOW match up.

You do not have to be right leaning. I am a much closer to the center. But Feminism is one of the main reasons for the growth of MGTOW. They are the ones teaching modern women very bad habits that have caused men to seek a life away from these toxic actions.

I'm a self-described liberal (centre-left leaning) and a feminist. The problem is how you define "liberal" and "feminism", since nowadays these terms seem to have changed. (Heck, "MGTOW" is the same as "incel" for most people in the mainstream.)

For example: I'm for free speech, which somehow -- and it still shocks me -- seems to now be a conservative position rather than a liberal one. A lot of liberals now will say "I'm a liberal, BUT I'm for free speech" rather than "I'm a liberal, THEREFORE I'm for free speech".

I also believe in equal opportunity for women, which is the classical definition of "feminism". But if you look at surveys, nearly everyone is for equal opportunity for women, but less than 20% of women call themselves "feminist" in the West. Why? Because "feminism" doesn't seem to mean "equal opportunity" anymore. I'm certainly "anti-feminist" when it comes to ideas like justifying statements such as "kill all men" ("it's ok because men have all the power") in the mainstream.

So just be careful when using the terms "liberal" and "feminism", because how they are defined may differ from the dictionary definition. Better to say exactly what you are for or against, rather than using an umbrella term that may be misunderstood.

A true feminist would teach a woman how to be happy. All the career women I know are 5’s and 6’s unmarried, can’t keep a serious, decent boyfriend. Theses fake feminists have therapists, psychiatrist’s and need doctor prescribed drugs to function.

Happy women are man supporting, family oriented and super feminine. They are truly happy, treated like queen’s and they love building a future with their man.

I’m going to guess you are not a true feminist. You are a delusional, social justice warrior with issues!

I would say most MGTOW would lean liberatarian, because the primary aim of MGTOW is freedom, which aligns pretty well with libertarian ideas. If they lean right or left, it tends to be right -- not because they are traditional conservatives, but because they are reacting to the lunacy on the left.

As for feminism, it's important to distinguish "equal opportunity" from "equal outcome." It's the latter that feminists today are pushing for. Any sign of inequality of outcomes is attributed to sexism and blamed on men. Never mind that the actual cause is attributable to different gender choices and lifestyles -- it's men's fault, the patriarchy, oppression, etc.

Modern feminism also has a heavily victim-oriented mindset. They are always playing the victim card, portraying themselves as victims. Their standard tactic is to blame men and society for alleged oppression and victimization. Yet if you look at the stats, women are privileged, supported, enabled, pedestalized, and appeased in ways that make them the favored sex. Meanwhile, men are suffering badly, in many ways, but the culture doesn't care. Men don't complain -- it's not our nature.

It's a big subject. MGTOW has roots in red pill philosophy and men's rights activism, so it naturally has an anti-feminist quality. As a first step, it's critical to understand that modern feminism is not about equality of opportunity. It's about female prioritization and imposition of a feminine worldview, at the expense of men. It's been going on for 50 years. It's just getting worse. We live in a gynocentric world, where men are the discarded, disposable class, not the privileged, empowered ones they want you to believe.

Liberal how? Most younger folks are liberal to some degree. Once you realize that never ending and unlimited social programs are a fantasy, just like romantic relationships, you’ll find that you may be attracted to more conservative philosophy.

MGTOW isn’t anti-feminism in my mind. It is opting out of the bullshit that is traditional relationships and enjoying life with yourself and those you choose to be around.

I think if mgtow was to align with any political ideology it would be libertarian.

Choosing not to marry and have kids is very anti-conservative.

Many mgtows have a distrust in the institutions that are closely tethered to government.

School. Military. Family law. Tax-system. Even restrictions for small businesses. (Try building an apartment complex in southern California). Could all fail a man within a lifetime.

So they see government intervention as usually unnecessary at best and retarding at worst.

Liberalism is concerned with the collective (which to some extent I agree, I like parks and roads).

Libertarian is concerned with the individual.

Men are naturally conservative for the most part but also some men libertarian which can overlap the theme of feminism is very collectivize ideology most guys usually don't go for collectivize ideology I personally don't have a issue with feminism my whole issue is the ideology in it's current form is very is very hypocritical and not consistent plus they seem very biased against male gender real or imagined. And with liberalism there's nothing with liberalism the problem is the people that practice liberalism are not liberals in the traditional since they are progressives that's what they really should classify not liberals as that's the wrong definition of their ideology they are very anti-choice when it comes to individual choice in terms of how you conduct you're personal affairs. Everything they preach is the govt should be the overseer on how you live. Some guys are cool with it some aren't that's my personal take I prefer a govt in which it runs in efficient way by which we don't need that many bureaucrats ruling the population.
