I feel that going your own way is actually the easy way out.

Yes, not losing your kids and your wife and 50% of your financial assets is the easy way out. Can we not pretend that doing something dangerously stupid is somehow noble? Yeah were meant to be fathers and have families, but were not meant to do it anywhere near the way we are doing it today. Even without divorce and alimony and all that BS its still far, far removed from what we are 'supposed' to do naturally.

We gave up on natural a long time ago, I'm not going to marry a woman and lose my free life just because buried underneath a pile of needles there is a single grain of 'natural' truth.

There is a philosophy that one way to find meaning in life is to struggle, however they make sure to acknowledge that purposely suffering for something unworthy does not make it meaningful, such as chasing a girl who you know will never love you. Just because you struggle doesn't mean it is worth anything.

This is ultimately for you to decide. I was married and had children but did so as a sleepwalking blue pill. I, like any father, love their children and would never regret that aspect but I wonder what route I would have gone if I knew the truth at a young age.

There is the tradcon/gynocentric definition of the 'pinnacle of masculity'. If you agree with it then "the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to." If you have your own definition or want to develop that definition for yourself, then you should challenge what you are being fed.

Do you not see the irony in that statement? Doing what you want is actually "the easy way out" -- doesn't that sound a little 'brain-washy'? It sounds like 'thinking for yourself is the easy way out.'

If you want to get married and have children, then I hope you achieve that goal. But do it (1) because YOU want to do it, and not because society told you to do it, and (2) understand the costs/benefits of doing so.

So: MGTOW or marriage. Whether one is the easy choice is irrelevant. You do you. Best wishes, brother.

I am contemplating MGTOW but not sure yet. I mean you kind of right, but on the other hand I experienced for myself and people I know, that no matter how good and trustworthy someone looks, they might suddenly change or whatever. Especially in the hard times. It looks like when everything goes well they stay, but if you fail to entertain your partner they move on like from an outdated game console.

I don't care about the financial situation of divorce, because I am not in the USA. But do I really want a relationship where I can never be sure they care about me tomorrow? Do I want a relationship where I know I cannot count on her when time get tough?

You might say that not every women is like that, but the problem is that you will only find out after the fact. At least the most trustworthy woman I ever met threw me away like garbage, and I never met anyone who looked more trustworthy. Maybe I am just to autistic to actually recognize truly trustworthy people, but it looks to me that everyone trusts more on wishful thinking, not on actually knowing it.

I don't want my children to become victims of divorce. Are you aware how damaging it is? They statistically much more poorer, less healthy, clinical depressed, and suicidal.

Sounds like you’re living in a world where you have given up choosing what’s best for you. You are allowing society dictate what makes you a man. If you want a to be a slave to the norms of society, then yes, you are correct.
