Let's say you find one of the better ones, you build up that idealized image of her. Then she fucks you over. You are not prepared, you will lose your shit and lose your mind.

Some people take TRP less than a guide to life and bettering yourself, and more of a religion with a real and defined devil, and you can't even credit the enemy as being less enemy-like.

So it depends who you talk to. I known plenty of "good women" that would pass for unicorns. They're happily married with nice families. I've also known some real shits who are nuts.

It's ok to be tribal within the community, but being too tribal between communities can be unhealthy. Stay away from bad girls, put your energy into good ones, and develop skills and techniques to make yourself disciplined and happy.

I agree. I enjoy reading TRP mostly because I like the discussions about human behavior from the point of view of evolutionary psychology. The RP asks, "how do most women behave, and why did they evolve to behave in this way", and likewise, "what do they want, and why have they evolved to want that?" And of course, the same questions about men. Most other places tend to be unfriendly to looking at human behavior dispassionately, in the way that we look at the behavior of other animals.

But for every dispassionate evaluation comment here, there is generally a corresponding comment that is overly emotional and hurt, and trying to apply... I don't even know what to call it... a traditional moral framework where it doesn't really belong. It doesn't make sense to get upset at a lion for killing and eating other animals. It doesn't make much sense to get angry at humans for doing what comes naturally. In order to be able to understand the TRP and to make peace with it, you need to think beyond good and evil.

Which is why I really like you bringing up yin and yang. Men and woman make up two halves of a whole. They are different but both are necessary, and they both have a different set of virtues and vices.

There are some virtuous woman, and there are some vicious woman. Most are average. Some people might say that you should expect the worst of all woman (and people) so that you can avoid disappointment. But looking at it rationally, I think it is safe to assume that there are virtuous woman in the world. All human attributes sit on a bell-curve, it would be weird to think that virtue in woman is the exception.

I agree, unicorns are a subject worth looking into. What makes a unicorn? And a related question, what makes a great man?

My ex was kind of a prude. She hated characters in movies and games that portrayed a sexual seductive behavior. The best example would be the mistresses in Dungeon Keeper 2. She even claims to have never masturbated. I believe she even viewed people who acknowledged their sexual side as being weak minded because she felt they weren't strong enough to resist it. Even when I was most blue pilled I thought this was an odd denial of something that's deep seated within every person. Reminded me of a nun.

Her brother is like that too. I think it's 2 things. Both have very low self esteem (as I increase in confidence I express my sexuality more). By saying people who are open about being sexual are weak they try to make it seem like they're strong to not being confident enough about it.

I think they got this behavior from their mom who is basically a manipulative monster with an SMV of -1. She's toxic and tries to make people behave according to her world view.

To answer your question - I don't think unicorns exist. People have different strengths and weaknesses and even if one might seem like a unicorn now personality is a dynamic thing so they might not stay that way.

I know several women that thus far have remained loyal to their husbands, never rode the CC when young, and want to remain accountable for themselves. They have done this over the past 20 years. Now, nothing is guaranteed, but at the same time the most reliable predictor of future behavior is past behavior, so it's reasonable to expect things to continue as they have in those relationships.

Are these women Unicorns? I'm sure they have their bad hair days, morning breath, chilli dog farts, quirks that aren't fun to be around sometimes, and they sometimes still annoy the shit out of their husbands and kids. I don't know if their unicorns or not - I know they have been loyal and for the most part are capable adults and seem to function well in their relationships, at least from the outside looking in.

At the same time, I've known far more women whose behavior over a long term is perfectly in line TRP type thinking, and exemplify constantly that they are the oldest children in their homes.

As men, just be willing to be observant, a woman will show you who she is, and quickly.

For the most part it is because the majority of the audience have been harboring special snowflake fantasies and dont need a detailed discussion of marginal cases to give them MORE ammo to hamster and delude themselves.

It would be like training marksmanship for war but we spend 1 day on accurate shooting at common ranges and targets, and 4 weeks talking aboit the advantages of blindly firing because miracle riccohets happen and are pretty amazing.

That isnt the shit they need to hear and going into the world focused on marginal bullshit wishful thinking will trip you up. If you are at the level to even assess a woman as being an outlier you dont need to read about it here.

Unicorns exist through good parenting and education.

Both parents have to heavily involved in their child's life, the dad has to set the right example of what a man is, the mother has to explain the chemistry between men and women.

I would go further and say the grandparents have to have a positive influence too, explaining what relationships were like before female sexual liberation.

The "Unicorn" also needs to be taught how media is simply an exaggerated form of reality, something which our generation being raised on TV never really gets told.

She also needs to have a sheltered social circle from poisonous characters... The list of whats needed is almost never ending ff XD

Because

a) chances that your unicorn girl is actually unicorn is slim to none and everyone (yes even you and me) things he is special snowflake who is able to find his unicorn, atleast in weak moments, it would be contraproductive to give such advice to mass

b) majority of people here are tools, yes some ECs too, who use rp as dogma/religion and not set of tools, generalizations,etc

If you are doing market research on people that have mobile phones you are going to want to focus on the people that have mobile phones.

Sure there are some outliers out there that don't have mobile phones. But that number is sooooooooo small that you don't even need to bother researching them because there is no point. You won't get any sales from it or value at all.

Acknowledging that outliers exist doesn't help those who have been burned in the past and are looking to TRP for answers. It only prolongs their suffering and elongates the anger phase if their uniform ends up a ho.
