I've seen some of his interviews, and read a few of his blog posts. A lot of Red Pill philosophy, a lot of "having game" can help you with women, which I don't buy into.

The site is better than the book. The book is very clumsy that lost it central focus.

I've read the 3rd one most recently and while it is a bit filler heavy and he does go on about the same points over again, it's genuinely well written. You'd probably find what you've already heard and read put into a better organised format, and thus easier to remember and internalise.

He tells women not to have careers, yet you MGTOW always complain about how women are all gold-diggers and how you're better off without them to save your money. Pick one.

The book is good. The Main premise is a man’s value is his status, power, and money. That means a very rich guy will never hit “the wall.” He can obtain what he wants from the women he wants it from, until he’s old. George Soros’ wife is 42 years younger than him for example. A woman, on the contrary, does not become more attractive as her net worth increases, because men are not attracted to a woman for her career or status, but her youth and fertility. This is complicated a tiny bit by the bad boy syndrome. There are women who are attracted to rebellious bad man for a phase. Its still an attraction to popularity and status, just within a subculture that is counter to the mainstream. I usually recommend to younger guys struggling with women, either find a way to get rich, lol, or get some tattoos, punk rock cloths, and hang out at rock bars for the bad girls.

Honestly, a book like that is worth a read even if you don’t end up agreeing with his views.

It is a great starting point for any men who are yet red pilled. If you are already in the MGTOW circle for a while, then most of it is either common sense or wrong. I do think the red pill in general glorifies and justifies women's shitty behaviours too much. It is not all that wrong to call Rollo a simp in this regard.

However, there is too much thought hunting these days. If a writer/director/uploader have a slight opposing view, people will start labels like commies tradcons simps and throw his book out of the window. A good book offers views/information you didn't have. The author's other political, life style choices doesn't matter that much.

For a hardcore monk mode MGTOW it has no value. If you need answers, you will find a lot of wisdom and experience. Rollo is one of godfathers of the manospere. He counseled many men many years before he wrote the books.

My honest opinion? He has a lot of gems about female nature but it reads too much like a REALLY LONG psychology paper. Alot of psycho babbling and verbal diarrhea just to take too long to get to the point. I’d rather read blog like Roissy or Donovan sharpe. Gets to the point, no fluff.

Basically he wrote the book Patrice O'Neal never got around to writing, and thus, he gets a lot of undue credit for starting this whole thing. It does a decent job of organizing and naming all the techniques that Patrice taught over his short comedic life, but I found that there was very little original content in there and without the humor angle, it just didn't hit home and stick as well.

You could do just as well watching all 13 episodes of Black Phillip on youtube. Then if you feel the need to read the same content in the form of a boring textbook, buy TRM.

Before someone jumps on me saying Patrice did not invent this either, yes, it is just classic pimp culture used to win at the modern dating scene. But he really was the first to bring it out packaged as a way to win at traditional dating.

It's a great book for having a better understanding of women's sexual strategy. I found that it helped clarify their continually illogical behavior in how they deal with us men. I wish I would have had this book 30 years ago, it probably would have saved me a lot of grief. I think it is definitely worth the read. How you use the knowledge presented in the book is up to you.

of all my MGTOW books "The Rational Male" is my least favorite. The "game", "plate spinning" bullshit is PUA stupidity, not my idea of MGTOW at all. Rollo is too focused on women.
