Generally speaking, older women might cougar for a time, but they won't marry down. Sure, there are exceptions, but the general rule holds. Plus, the situation isn't exactly symmetric: if a Thot wants to snag an older man, she just pretty much has to lie back and think of England. A guy trying to pull that would still have to attain and maintain the gallant reaction. If it's a thirsty guy, no problem at first, but the effort required will only increase as time goes on.

Some women will date or fornicate down, but most won't. When they get to an older age, generally they're not that into it that much.

I mean sure, they can cougar around, but since there's far less financial security there, it isn't really a motivating force.

When I was in my 20's I dated older women, I had this thing for older women; some of them had "means", one of them was a trust fund baby. But they all knew that it was a temp thing, and so did I; I was their boy toy and they were my cougars before the word cougar was invented.

I did meet the trust fund baby's family and father, and he was not too pleased that I was in the picture and he was a real a-hole to me.

I do know 2 wealthy "enough" women, I would even attempt to say that we are "friends"; both single, both in their early 40's, both complain that they can't find a "financially viable" boyfriend, since all the guys out there are either broke, or divorced with huge alimony/child support payments, or taken.

These 2 women are average, not hot, I believe they think that they don't need to try hard since they have a vagina, they have an average body, and they have money. And by money I mean a few millions of dollars, single-digit, nothing too crazy.

They are very wary of gold-digger guys.

Some men do this, but it's an uphill battle. You have to be really hot for even a cougar to consider marrying down. Most of the time, she'll just fuck him for a while as a boy toy. Because it's still 2 much work for what is being offered, most likely. Not all males are already dead on the inside to be able to do that for long. That's not playing with fire, that is playing with radioactive waste. Couple of things, first you won't get half her stuff, you will lose the divorce court, they've played the game, they have lawyer friends. Secondly you are not all that appealing to her, she will still only be looking up, and in fact will have higher standards for being around men for so long. Third, older women are crazy, you may end up in A&E with a member missing, bleeding between your legs because she "just had enough of your shit".

No woman wants a younger guy that when she's top of the business game. And cougars aren't as common as you think. Most of us younger guys are completely out of the market. Just accept it. Safer that way anyways and how many judges will actually make women pay alimony or whatever?

Well, I'd put it this way. If you don't like women playing "the system" with you, it would be wise not to do the same with other women. If you think that it is unfair that some young women try to date older men to get their stuff, doing the same back only makes two wrongs. Plus, there really is no guarantee of gaining anything, as divorce courts are in most cases heavily biased toward women.

There are many reasons. But let the most straight one out: those women are still single at those age for a good reason. You wouldn't want to find out why.

Some have a train-wreck of personality or mentality, Charlize Theron is the perfect example. Some just don't want to be ordered around by men or societal expectations, just like men. Some are delusional about their SMVs and think they still worth a catch in their 40s'. In any way, it is a good thing they are all single.
