Usually I do nothing on Saturday but RDR2, however I do go pistol shooting once a month on Saturday. Either way, my phone is switched off when I finish work Friday afternoon, and I turn it back on flight mode on Sunday night for the alarm.

We used to have these posts in the old MGTOW back when the subreddit had 10 times fewer subscribers and text posts could get some attention. As I see it, these posts are made from a flawed premise, that being that talking about women means you're not pursuing any hobbies. This is also a common argument against MGTOW: "you say you're going your own way, but all you do is talk about women!" If we take this as a given, it would seem natural to start talking about hobbies to add some weight on the "not talking about women" side of the balance. The way these threads usually play out is that men will list their hobbies, but nothing much comes out of it.

In my opinion, the problem is that men have a wide variety of interests, and there won't be much overlap between the things we find interesting. Even if there is overlap, there are usually much better places to discuss a given hobby or interest, such as the subreddit dedicated to that hobby. The least common denominator of MGTOW has always been a rejection of certain relationships with women, so that's what naturally gets talked about. I'm sure most MGTOW are discussing plenty of hobbies; they're just doing it elsewhere, not on a MGTOW subreddit. I personally never felt the need to "show off" on a MGTOW forums about my latest achievements or post about what I'm up to. It's not why I'm here.

I don't know if I'd call grilling a hobby, but I'm pretty good at smoking meats as well.

Ironic really, especially in the context of the prior:

Some of my old hobbies included video games and jogging, and that expanded to include biking and most recently Kayaking. I also have a guitar but have not really gotten the self discipline to turn off the screens and get playing. I also like to geocache... drive around and find hidden containers that other people place and sign the log. Good way to explore scenic areas you might not otherwise know exist.

Because -- while the definition is obviously subjective -- none of those are actually "hobbies" in any real sense (they involve the "creation" of nothing of substance)... they are all more properly described as "activities" (or even "entertainments") rather than "hobbies."

By contrast, both "grilling" (or any cooking/baking) and even more so "smoking meats" (since it is about "preserving" meat, usually for some longer term/significantly later use) are much more appropriately labeled as "hobbies."
That doesn't mean there is anything wrong with "activities" -- they are neither superior to,, nor inferior to "hobbies" -- but they are different (and alas confusing/conflating them often leads to miscommunication & misunderstanding).

Motorcycle is one of my hobbies, and passions now, working out, I'm trying to get into kick boxing and I actually would like to get better with my finances, so I may need some "easy" reading material(s)

Geocaching? Sounds interesting and adventurous.

Fencing and jogging. Fencing club is closed for Summer. Downloaded books written by early 20th century fencing masters and try to apply the knowledge. Also practice my Spanish, German and Irish by rewatching anime dubbed in these languages.

Radio control aeromodeling. Been building and flying my whole life. It is interesting that the hobby is 99.9% male. Women have no innate interest, probably like men have no interest in quilting or needlepoint.

But the hobby has changed enormously over the past decades. The only younger men interested now are "flying" multi-copter drones. There is not much actual flying skill involved in drones. And practically no one builds anymore.

Mountain biking during the good weather seasons (live in AZ so it's an oven for the next four months), and have recently gotten very addicted to the gym.

The 'gains' or whatever are fine and all, but I go there 6 days a week for the endorphin hit. It's the best thing I've done for myself since my MGTOW life started about a year ago. There are the physical benefits, of course, but the mood improvement and sense of well being is priceless

Multi instrumentalist, make my own music. Keep bees which is great, helps the environment and also you get good honey. Brew my own beer just interesting shit where you get stuff out of.

I lift and do HIIT body exercise workouts, get together with a bunch of guys on Sundays and play TTRPGs, and spend a lot of time working in and on my acting. I'm always either in a show; or in a class; or meeting weekly with a work/study group of actors to read and discuss books about acting methods, techniques and exercises written by major teachers, practice them, and rehearse, block, run through, and discuss a bunch of one-act plays of all different types.
