MGTOW philosophy is about protecting you from getting the state involved in your back account or your criminal history. That means if you live in one of the ten states that recognize cohabitation as pretty much marriage (common law) then never date a girl and love with her under the same roof.

If you just wanna have a short or a long term relationship with a girl (though men that seek out relationships are utterly betas) you can. Point is, do whatever is needed to avoid false allegations, police knocking on your door, and kicking you to the curb, or worth, having to pay alimony and/or child support. Most people on r/MGTOW lean towards "the juice is not worth the squeeze" and they are 100% right. As some inexperienced people must have to get a taste of Injustice before they finally get it.

In any case, no one here or anywhere should tell you what you should or shouldn't do, you're man going your own way, no need to follow someone, it's YOUR own way. Although, in my world, dating women is fun but overpriced and wastes a ton of time for me personally. I have a world to conquer, I need to learn new hobby, maintain my 6 pack and shred the slope snowboarding, have a great time with my puppy and work on learning how to video edit my shit, not to mention get a few certificates at work by studying hard to increase my potential value in the market and make more money and live a happier life. Now think about all of these things and think about how pathetic it would feel to leave all of these things and cuddle up next to your so-called significant other enjoying (wasting) your time with her. The choice is all yours, you reap what you sow in life.

Briffault's law basically prevents it. You cannot cater to someone else and go your own way. That's old school MGTOW knowledge. Today MGTOW is morphing into: "Hey, just do whatever ya want!!! /Happy Dance"

A lot of you guys will just have to learn the hard way why "bargaining" doesn't work.

Yes you can have significant other. But the peace will not be there for you. That is the point or lesson all the MRA's, Red Pill's and MGTOW's talk about. The women basic nature. Constant nagging, unreasonable demands, they never satisfy. Not in wrong way, even a perfect girl have something going on in their mind. It is from personal experience.

Here is a typical household, husband come from work, women started complaining to move out to some place. Because the ladies in neighbors said it is not safe anymore here. Then that constant nagging keep on going until husband divert her to next thing or really move to some other place.

But it is never ending process, one day it will be old curtains and other it will be washing machine.

All of the above is from my experience. Now, there are really intelligent girls out their. You know kind of when husband and wife be in social gathering and husband get in situation and with only eye contact they understand what to do. These girls do exist but they are very-very few.

So, we come to the basic question of MGTOW, are you willing to take that risk? because if you failed to get that girl. You will lose your job, children, house and respect.

In a nutshell: no. You are red-pilled, but not MGTOW. Nothing wrong with that, but that's what it is.

A red piller is someone who learns of the true nature of women, is aware of the risks that come with associating with them romantically, and still chooses to have sex and/or enter into relationships with women.

A MGTOW, by contrast, is someone who, having learned of true female nature, chooses to have no romantic relationships and/or sex with women, because the (ever increasing) risks and costs far outweigh the (ever diminishing) benefits.

I have been going my own way for many decades, and have been active in online MGTOW communities since the mid-2000s. "MGTOW" has always stood for Men Going Their Own Way Without Women. The last two words were never spelled out, because there was no need for it. Those in online communities knew and acknowledged that part innately.

Now that MGTOW is becoming popular and the "in thing", there are many who will climb aboard the bandwagon, proclaim that their versions (which involves pump and dump, serial dating, relationships, etc.) is also MGTOW. It never will be genuine MGTOW, and sooner or later they will be stung, either by false accusations, white knights, or the long arm of the law.

If I were to enter a relationship tomorrow, I would stop identifying as a MGTOW, because that would be fraudulent and deceiving myself.

However, gyow is gyow, and not be dictated or in the set pattern of your role to support for another.

The issue that many have met is women demand way too much and all the other pitfalls that come with it.

The bottom line is you choose your own destiny.

The most widely-accepted definition of MGTOW (from what I've seen) is that it is men who decide not to marry or cohabitate with women, because these are the two largest areas of legal risk in modern society.

That's it. It has nothing to do with who you vote for, what your hobbies are, what your sexual orientation is, whether you have sex with women, whether you date or are in long-term relationships, or anything else.

But, it isn't like there is some MGTOW police that will arrest you if you break the "rules." There are plenty of people who pile requirements on top of MGTOW. I can't stop them from doing that, but it isn't like they can stop me from being MGTOW either.

MGTOW1 is no longer a clear/pure reference to MGTOW philosophy since they have become an echo chamber for rage phase also a lot of black-pill material is taken too much spot light.

There're several factions on MGTOW from Monk mode 'till sort of LTR (no co-habitate no mariage)... it's true is your own way but it's not like any path is MGTOW, things to consider

Are you placing yourself in a vulnerable position: Legally speaking for co-habitation rules etc
is the woman red-pilled?: Having a relationship with a CC Rider, Leftover, damage goods makes no sense for a MGTOW... or have you find the mythical unicorn Nawalt?
are you committing to her? a men who surrenders his will to a woman it's hard to say it's MGTOW

A lot of MGTOW's have theorized and conclude you could have an LTR, SO if the woman fully understand TRP-MGTOW values and willingly accepts an equal-equal relationship, if that's your case then you're still MGTOW.. if that's not your case you have proven the frase "one BJ away from the plantation"

I'm not mgtow but I still eat from the "buffet". I won't marry, cohabitate, or have any legal entanglements but I still spend time with a particular woman and she knows the score, yes I know the risks. However I live in an area that is still pretty conservative so my risk is fairly low in my opinion. Also I don't really go out of my way for the "relationship" it's basically an exclusive FWB arrangement because I'm to lazy to have a second one.

Yes, but I recommend after you trash the bp programming. I choose to stay single though. I like doing whatever I want whenever I want. Freedom is really great. Bp programming goes deep the older you are, so I recommend you fix that asap. There are a lot of bps who think they are mgtow but they never left the plantation. I would be careful.

Just know that you came to this world alone and you will leave it on your own. No one can come with you. Anyone else think this whole life thing is just a really good simulation?
