So, I don't know if anyone else has ever experienced this or not. But whenever I am interviewed by a guy it's almost a 1-1 that I get the job or at least a 1-2 chance that I get the job. Whenever I'm interviewed by a woman, I'm either told that I'll get a callback in 2 weeks and then I'll see a rejection notice in the email box, and maybe it's a 1-5 or 1-6 ratio that I'll get hired if I'm interviewed by a woman.

I've been on about 50 interviews or so and have secured a couple different offers, do you guys also do better when interviewing with other guys or is this just me?

When I interview with guys, it's usually more of a conversation where they'll review my qualifications and go back and forth. With women I'm always asked questions like "Where do you see yourself in 5 years, Why do you want to work for us (Because I need a job)? The most ridiculous question I've heard is "If you could be any animal, what would it be and why?"

With guys, the questions are usually much more logical and I think they're more fair about who they hire and who they file 13. I recently got a job where I just showed up, was asked a few short questions, was shown around the office, and was hired. The interview before that? It was like an HOUR LONG interview where I was jumping through hoops answering questions that had NOTHING to do with the job.

Fuck, I hate job searching.
