Within the last few days I have decided that I’m going to file for divorce. But since I decided that I just found out that my stbx has not been paying the bills like she said she was. During the last 7-8 months of her taking over the bills in our marriage she has paid everything late for instance when I woke up this afternoon so I could get ready for my final night shift before transitioning to my day shift part of my work schedule I received a message from the cellular provider stating that I owe them $500 also I have several voicemails from the bank about the car loan and the atv not being paid either along with the utilities and the rent all of which she said she would stay on top of and make sure that we wouldn’t get behind on but instead she orders things that we don’t need and spends the money on who knows what. I’m taking it as a big sign that I’m making the right choice since my name is on all the bills and she refuses to pay them so it’s affecting my credit now and I checked my score since all this came to light and it’s dropped over 150 points since the last time I checked it I know I should have kept on it myself but she wanted me to trust her and now I’m paying the price for that decision. All I want to know is where the money is going if she’s not paying the bills and she’s not working.
